Pharmaceutical

The Pharmacy Department supports the patient care, research and educational missions of the Hospital.
The Pharmacy Department oversees the procurement of medication and medical sundries, their storage, dispensing, and utilization throughout the Hospital. It is responsible for dispensing medications daily for an average of 800 inpatients, both at Bellevue Hospital and Kenneth Royes Rehabilitation Centre, with additional services provided in the outpatient setting, including services to four (4) homes operated by the Missionaries of the Poor and the Mustard Seed Community.

The Department consists of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, as well as support personnel, who work together in ensuring patients receive the highest quality pharmaceutical care possible. The technical staff also provides drug information support for healthcare professionals and other care providers.
The Pharmacy Department opens Mondays to Fridays, 8 am – 4 pm, to clients of the institution and also on Weekends and Public Holidays, 9 am – 1 pm, to facilitate emergency cases.
